Dutchess Pride Honored by the Ninth Judicial District, NYS Courts
NEW CITY, NY - June 30th, 2026
Dutchess County Pride Center today was proud to be the recipient of the LGBTQ+ Access to Justice Community Impact Award during the 2026 Pride Justice Awards, hosted by the Ninth Judicial District of the New York State Supreme Court.
The Pride Justice Awards are in their fourth year, honoring awardees for their efforts and contributions to the LGBTQ+ community. Held at the Rockland County Courthouse in New City, several Justices from the Ninth District were in attendance, as well as numerous local officials including Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E. Walsh II.
In attendance from Dutchess County Pride Center were Executive Director and Co-Founder Karen Marder, Board President and Co-Founder Shannon Johns, Board Member and Co-Founder Adam Rubinstein, and former Youth Board President Samantha Rubinstein.
