Rainbow Crosswalk Painting: Part 1

Help Dutchess Pride paint the town rainbow! We will be painting two highly visible and central crosswalks; one in the City of Poughkeepsie and one in the Town of Poughkeepsie. Join us as we start with the crosswalk just outside the front doors of the center.

No cost | RSVP ASAP! | Family-friendly

We’re supplying the paint and the refreshments, just bring yourself in your best painting attire.

While an RSVP is not required, we ask that you please email hello@dutchesspride.org so we know to expect you!

We’re meeting on May 29th from 6:00pm-7:30pm at:

Dutchess County Pride Center | 766 Main Street | Poughkeepsie

Event Details:

• We supply the paint, brushes, and supplies

• We might spill some paint! Please wear clothes/shoes that you don’t mind getting a little messy

• A part of Poughkeepsie Pride & Dutchess Pride Month: our monthlong, countywide celebration of queerness.

• All ages and abilities are welcome

• Please be advised this is an evening outdoor event. If you are sensitive to heat or sunlight, please take precautions

About Us:

• Poughkeepsie Pride was first created in 2019 by Dutchess County Pride Center (DCPC), and has grown every year since. We’ve gone from just the Pride march in June to a host of activities across the county.

• DCPC offers monthly social and support groups for members of the LGBTQ+ Community
