Yes! We have over 90 vendors and thousands of attendees every year. For the safety of everyone involved, it is necessary to have everyone, even those who are only handing out information or free items, to fill out the vendor applications.

Yes! We have no control over the information or the price of the City of Poughkeepsie Vendor Permit application but we can not hold the Poughkeepsie Pride March and Festival without having every vendor fill out their permit application.

Yup! In order for Dutchess County Pride Center to continue to keep this event safe and well organized, everyone who wants to hand out information or items must register.

Unfortunately, anyone who shows up and starts handing out information or items without completing all the necessary requirements will be asked to remove their items. If they refuse to remove their items, they will be escorted out of the park.

Sure! As long as one organization has completed the necessary registration and paperwork to reserve the table, they can hand out information from multiple organizations. Please note though that Dutchess County Pride Center reserves the right to ask anyone to remove items that don’t promote our message of love and acceptance.

Excellent Question- in order to pay for the March and Festival, and keep it free of charge to all attendees, we must charge a fee to our vendors for their spot in the park. If this fee is something that would prevent your participation, please reach out to us and we’ll see what we can do.

There is a $50 fee that everyone must pay to Dutchess County Pride Center. If this fee is something that would prevent your participation, please reach out to us and we’ll see what we can do.
In addition, all businesses that are selling non food items have to pay a $35 fee to the City of Poughkeepsie and all food vendors have to pay a $75 fee to the City of Poughkeepsie.

Yes!!! Just make sure that you have at least 1 person at your table at all times, so someone will need to stay back in the park during the March, but we welcome everyone to join us for the March.
