Poughkeepsie Pride Vendor FAQ’s

  • There’s only three easy steps:

  • With over 90 vendors and thousands of attendees every year, safety is our top priority. It is necessary to have all vendors, including those who are only handing out information or free items, to have valid vending permits and applications. Dutchess County Pride Center reserves the right to ask anyone to remove items that don’t promote our message of love and acceptance.

  • Vendor Permits are required for all vendors at Poughkeepsie Pride. Please direct any questions about the contents or cost of the Vendor Permit Application to the City of Poughkeepsie.

For safety and compliance, we cannot have Poughkeepsie Pride without having every vendor fill out a permit application.

  • Yup! In order for Dutchess County Pride Center to continue to keep this event safe and well organized, everyone who wants to hand out information or items must register with Poughkeepsie Pride and with the City of Poughkeepsie.

  • Unfortunately, anyone who shows up and starts handing out information or items without completing all the necessary requirements will be asked to remove their items. If they refuse to remove their items, they will be escorted out of the park.

  • Great Question! The vendor permit and fee is required from all vendors and helps us offset the costs of Poughkeepsie Pride, keeping it free and open to all. If you find this fee cost-prohibitive, please reach out to us.
